Hanze Library is pilot testing a new service: we now offer extensive support for creating and implementing the search strategy of a systematic literature review, intended for (teacher) researchers, lecturers and P(h)D candidates. Support includes: 

• Intake meeting about the literature search;
• Preparation of a basic search strategy for 1 database;
• Evaluating and adjusting the search strategy for the first database;
• Editing the search strategy for the other databases;
• Collecting and de-duplicating all references found;
• Describing the search strategy process for publication.

Please note:

• We do not offer advice on statistics and content review of articles!
• The Information Specialist is ultimately responsible for the search strategy and its implementation. For this reason, we request to be listed as a co-author for the publication. The Information Specialist is available after publication to answer questions about the search strategy.
• The pilot will be evaluated in the spring of 2025. 

To ensure a good collaboration, we expect researchers to: 

• Carefully consider the research question and inclusion and exclusion criteria in advance;
• Review this Library Guide;
• Complete the intake form in advance.
