Analysing in ATLAS.ti

There are different ways to analyse research data.

The Analyse Tools can be found under the tab Analyze.

Some tools are quantitative: they give amounts or frequencies, often as a table.

Other analysis tools are qualitative and give insight in:

• your data;
• the underlying relations,
• the context of your research.

Please note that qualitative research is nog on numbers and amounts. The use of quantitative tools can give a first impression about where there are particularities in your project, but you will always have to look into it further.
